There are no strangers here; only friends you haven’t met
We were all looking forward to this day. Especially because we had no set plans other than to get to the Kingdom Hall. We had two options - one at 10:30 and another one at 1:30 - so we opted for the morning meeting even though it was tempting to just sleep in. And we are SO GLAD we did!
The taxi driver got us to the street and then slowed to a crawl. He asked if we had ever been to this location before, and we said no but we would recognize it when we saw it.
When we arrived, the brothers were at the door greeting us. They were so excited to let us know that we came to the right place at the right time. Today was the end of their CO visit week and as per their usual practice, they had brought in goodies for after the meeting. The friends were so generous with hospitality, hugs and send their love to all our friends back in the US.
Who knew Ireland was such a melting pot. Friends in this congregation from Ukraine, Philippines, Germany, Moldova, China, South Africa, England (and more). There was even a sister named Andrea from Canada and a single sister that moved in from Florida a few years ago.
Sending love from the Dunlaoghaire Congregation
The older sisters had many suggestions of things to do on our last day. First stop was the Chester Beatty Library that is so often referenced in our publications. And it happens to be adjacent to the Dublin Castle - bonus!
I stumped the tour guide when I asked him where in the Sacred Traditions papyrus display could I find the Tetragrammaton.
Since we couldn’t find it at the museum, we went to the 300 yr old Church Pub where the Tetragrammaton is clearly on display! It’s on the ceiling emblazoned in gold trim. Can’t miss it.

Well, I guess all good things must come to an end.
We are heading back to the US tomorrow.
But this trip across the pond will always hold a special place in our heart.
Thanks for joining us on this journey!

Safe travels back ❤️
