After the beautiful time we had with the local congregation, we got back to the hotel in time for an early dinner. And since we had to travel across the pond to catch up with some dear friends from Arkansas, we made a date to meet. 

An easy walk from our hotel, our dinner spot featured a 3-course meal for £25. For reference, at the JFK airport, I could barely get a salad for that price. Anyway, when we arrived without a reservation, we learned that one of the kitchen workers had a family emergency and thus they couldn't seat us. The host was very apologetic, but he offered a great alternative recommendation: The Ivy and we were very happy with our Plan B.
