Thank God it’s Friday!

Seems like we just got here and it’s already Friday. Time flies when you’re having fun. I must have been too excited for today because for the first time since we arrived, I woke up before my alarm and couldn’t get back to sleep. Perhaps it’s because we had to begin our day earlier, given our 7 am meeting time. We really enjoyed this opportunity to meet more friends at our hotel.

When we arrived at the convention site, it was incredible to see how many friends were already there before 7:30am. There was one wheelchair bound sister in the greeting line holding up a sign and yelling very emphatically “We love you”. In the picture, you can see her pointing directly at me and others to ensure we knew that her love was genuine. Tried to bring the ugly cry out on the first day.

The arena is such a nice setting for the convention. 

There is ample seating on the floor for the elderly and infirm.

Here’s the view from our seats on the 2nd level. 

So well organized. But of course - Jehovah is a God of order.

And lunch was great too!
