What are you looking for?
The theme of the first talk of the day proved to be a common question all day long. Seemed as if we were always looking for something or someone. And we even found some friends and spiritual gems that we were not even expecting.
The cleaning crew shared my appreciation for streak free glass!
They even worked to keep it clean during the session. :)
Stacy and I learned that the phrase “the whole nine yards” is Scottish and has to do with the kilt. Don’t forget to ask us all about it later.
Something a little different for dinner tonight - a food hall.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the street food medley of options. Most popular dish: Loaded fries with shrimp on top. Definitely not on my regular eating plan.
How often can you have dinner with friends from Kentucky, Missouri, Connecticut and North Carolina on a random Saturday night?
Especially spiritual food! And you know with the guest speakers we had - we’ve had a banquet. Will be sure to share some of my favorite highlights in a future post as I continue to meditate on these gems.
We would have walked (and really felt like we needed to after all those fries), but it was a 45 min estimate and looked like it was going to start raining again. So we had our 1st uber ride of the trip. Stacy is NOT driving - notice the steering wheel is on the right side as they drive on the left side of the road here.
Views from the Uber ride after dinner.
As soon as we got to hotel, sun came out again. :)
Friends from NC made this beautiful sign.
WE LOVE YOU!!!!

What a full and delightful day! Wish I could have been there too. Feels like paradise on earth just listening to myself read your words about the convention and our loving friends. I miss them all even though we have never met in person. I miss you two also. When you get back we really must spend some time together getting to know each other better. Much love and safe travels!
