Could McCloud be an Irishman?

So, the name McCloud denotes “son of Leod” and it is an American version of the surname McLeod. Which means we are neither Scottish or Irish. Which also means there is no family castle to be inherited over here. Well, its a good thing that was not the REAL reason for my trip :)

Today we arrived without incident in Dublin and I’m beginning to sense that my crew is growing weary. We walked to the Beanhive Coffee shop - had a delicious lunch - and then walked around the corner from our quaint part of town into a lively scene. There were street performers (who were quite good actually). There are shops of all varieties from H&M to a shop that had a cute pair of linen pants on clearance for more than $200. Good thing we don’t have ANY MORE ROOM for shopping!!! Unless I find something irresistible, of course.

We got some snacks. We walked through a beautiful park in the center of town. We watched a true bird lady. And when we made it home we quickly confirmed tomorrow’s activity and got about the business of getting some rest! Good thing I’ve got my eye mask because its still bright skies at almost 10pm here!

Welcome to Ireland!

Why is it Scotch Whisky but Irish Whiskey?
Wish I had taken a picture of the sign I saw at the Beanhive Coffee shop as a caption for this last picture: Don’t feed the pigeons; they will take over the world!

And this was just some funny Irish humor. . .

19,000 steps yesterday
15,000 today
Tomorrow, we ride!
