The London Sky Garden & City Sights

Dionne had only one request for our trip to London - to have dinner at the Sky Garden. And the best part was she made the reservations so all I had to do was to recommend some sights to enjoy along the way. So, after the British museum, we meandered over to the famous Trafalgar Square which was beautiful despite the fact that the fountains are under repair.

We could see Big Ben (the clock tower) from Trafalgar Square

 

We took a quick “Tube” ride to get to the Sky Garden, and we were amazed at all the tall buildings and even taller monuments standing together in this vibrant city. 

  

And then - the Sky Garden came into view: 

 

So glad we had a reservation!

The Sky Garden was a special place for a fun dinner date!

Then off to another popular attraction: The Tower Bridge (often mistakenly called the London Bridge). This bridge is next to Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are held. They didn’t know we were coming so the doors were locked tight when we got there.

And then we took an uberBoat on the River Thames (pronounced Tim’s) back to our lodging place.
